The Magic Smile Words!
Do you have something that you can say that makes your baby smile every. single. time?? Well I do and hopefully you can too! When Peanut was about 3 months old, one of out best friends/ his auntie introduced us to the Sesame Street alphabet. Now, I was not a big Sesame Street kid growing up but I thought sure let’s hear it. Peanut LOVED it. As she sang it, we were both mesmerized. (I was also super impressed she knew it by heart) IT IS SO CATCHY! The rhymes are incredible. It only took like two listens to also know it by heart haha
He is 9 months now and still without fail when anyone says “A is for Abby” he smiles sooo big! All of our family now know all the words of course, because you can have a perfect picture every time with just those magic 4 words. My family and I had a photoshoot on the beach in Florida and you bet whoever wasn’t in the picture was standing behind the photographer singing this. My dad literally says “A is for Abby… why does that work!” every time he takes a picture of Peanut.
Peanut did not see the alphabet video until recently, but when he did he was SO excited! Here it is! Try it out with your baby, maybe it will have the same magic effect! Let me know! 🙂
This song inspired Peanut to absolutely LOVE Sesame Street. We read Sesame Street books about colors, rhyming, opposites and just because these characters and especially their names (that he knows from the song) are in it, he loves the books!
